Auto major Tata Motors on Tuesday said it was ready to withdraw its small car Nano project from West Bengal, and added it was “evaluating alternate options”. Commenting on the situation, a Tata Motors spokesperson said, “The situation around the Nano plant continues to be hostile and intimidating.”
